AH-MAZ-ING! I’m a marathon runner and have 30+ races under my belt, so I have my fair share of medals. This Mt Kilimanjaro medal is heavy and is an amazing quality. To top it all off it’s engravable and Wim has surpassed my expectations in customer service. My husband & I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary by climbing Mt Kili next month. I wanted to surprise my husband with a medal at the summit. I couldn’t decide what message to have written on the back and changed my mind several times.Wim was wonderful to work with and I received my medals in just a couple of days. This past year, my 69 year old mother climbed to the top of Angel’s Landing with my sister on their trip to Utah.  She’s very proud of her achievement!  Since we’re also very proud of her, I set out to find an Angel’s Landing inspired gift to commemorate the occasion to give to her as a Christmas gift.  By chance, I found Hiker Medals!  This couldn’t have been a more perfect gift.  When the medal was delivered, we decided that it was too good of a gift to give for Christmas.  So we gave it to her this past weekend as a 70th birthday present.  We wrote a poem about her hike and surprised her with a medal presentation ceremony.  It brought her to tears because she said she never received a medal before.  Thank you so much, Wim, for creating Hiker Medals!

Angel’s Landing Medal Review:  Absolutely beautiful!  The quality and design surpassed all of my expectations.  The medal has a nice weight to it and the ribbon is very sturdy.

I started buying medals from Hiker Medals when my wife and I hiked across the Grand Canyon for our 20th anniversary. Now we are trying to do the most challenging hikes through the country and have added Angels Landing, Pikes Peak, Half Dome and others. I really like the design of Angels landing and Half Dome which brings back memories of the chains and cables we used on these iconic climbs. Love this company! 

I purchased 4 medals for the High Sierra Trail.  The medals are high quality and awesome.  I was surprised at how heavy they were.  I carried the medals in my pack to the top of Mt. Whitney and gave them to my co-hikers.  They loved them and I was glad I had purchased them.  This is an excerpt from one of the girls facebook post about our hike.  “My most prized possessions from this hike are my medal from Debbie, the bonds of friendship formed, and of course the memories of this truly amazing experience.  My heart is so full of gratitude for the tough ladies that adventured with me.
