Rim to River Medal

The Grand Canyon provides amazing hiking opportunities, with the most challenging being the Rim to Rim and the Rim to Rim to Rim hikes. These two hikes require descending on one side and coming up on the other side. The Rim to River to Rim hike descends on one side with a return hike on the same side of the canyon. The most common trails for this hike are South Kaibab and Bright Angel.

The medal is of very high quality and weighs 5.5 oz, is 3.5 inches in diameter, and comes with a 1.5 inch colorful ribbon.
