Grand Canyon Rim to Rim Medal - North Kaibab
Celebrate completing the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim (R2R) hike with the Rim to Rim Medal. This medal commemorates one of the most iconic and demanding hiking achievements in the United States, crossing the canyon from one rim to the other.
The Rim to Rim route, often referred to as R2R, takes hikers through the vast and dramatic landscape of the Grand Canyon, descending toward the Colorado River and climbing back out on the opposite side. This design highlights the experience of coming down the North Kaibab Trail, known for its remote setting and steady descent from the North Rim into the depths of the canyon. As one of the premier extreme challenge hikes, completing this route represents a significant achievement for experienced hikers pushing their limits.
