Completed the JMT with two close friends who became engaged on the summit of Mt. Whitney. I bought myself a medal on returning to Australia and was so impressed I decided to get another one! A year later I gave one to my friends on the occasion of their wedding! Highly recommend.

I bought the John Muir medal for my buddy as a surprise for his return home back in August. Had it custom engraved with his name and date, bought a little circular wooden box from Hobby Lobby and he couldn't have been more thrilled. Not a lot of people understand the challenge and these medals are a perfect way of acknowledging someone's personal adventure. Highly recommend them - they're quality and they're perfectly sized. Not too small that's underwhelming, but not too big that it's obnoxious.
